Pedigree
Theo was Sandee's Tea and Toast dog. He was a big goofball and he went by the name Potato-head and Tater. He was also probably our most anxious dog, not liking the dark of night or loud scary noises.
Theo had lovely proportions and a beautiful coat. He also had some beautiful brothers (Indy) and sisters (Olivia).
Theo was born on August 28, 1995. He passed away on November 25, 2005, the day after Thanksgiving. He had been battling histiocytosis since he was diagnosed in May. At that time, we had been given 2 weeks.
Theo was a fighter. Chemotherapy helped shrink the tumors and beat back the disease -- For a while. But this disease is relentless in it's progression and it eventually ground him down to the point where he could fight no more..
Theo had a wonderful summer. You can see pictures of him playing with Risa and Journey here. We especially like this one, where Theo shows Risa how to carry a stick. He loved the puppies.
Some dogs are extra special. Theo and Sandee had a powerful bond. He left a big hole in her heart.
We miss him terribly.
