10/5/07- We have 2 black girls, 4 liver girls and one liver boy. Mom is doing well.
10/14/07 - We lost one of the liver girls this morning. Purple girl. It looks like she aspirated her milk, but we're not sure; while we found her shortly after the event happened, our resuscitation efforts failed. This was quite a surprise to us as all the puppies were vigorous, gaining good weight, and in general doing quite well. Some were even getting up on their feet. This was both sad and terribly discouarging; we thought we were past the dangerous accident period. It just shows how fragile they still are at this age.
10/21/07 - Here are some pictures of the puppies at 16 days of age.
11/7/07 - The puppies are growing like weeds. Pictures soon.
