Pedigree
Born 12/23/04
2/18/05: Risa is a remarkable new addition to Gondolin. She is the daughter of "Lindy", Ch Tavion's Fly Away Home, and "Woody" Ch Torwood Peerless CDX SH WCX HOF. Bred by Helen Szostak, she represents a significant new addition to our home. We're absolutely thrilled to have her with us.
3/5/05: Fresh Risa pictures here and here. Some Risa movies (1), (2), (3), (4) as she plays with Brecca. And here she is playing with Theo and Journey.
3/30/05: Risa checks out Ellie's Puppies. A movie. And here she shows that she has trouble holding still. She's getting leggy. Movies 1, 2, 3.
4/16/05: Risa and Kai play hard. It's hard to tell them apart. Kai has the broader head. Kai is from Cooper and Chaos, and is co-owned with us by Colleen Chapman; he was here on vacation.
7/2/05: Risa's first show at Mt Vernon, WA. Of course she didn't stand still for the judge, but she did show some lovely side movement. (Pictures by Patti And Joe Skorupa.)

9/25/05: Here she is at 9 months of age. A beautiful young lady. Check out that side movement!
1/22/06: Risa scores her first points at a supported entry in Puyallup WA. A 4 point major (almost 5) from the 12-18 month puppy class with BOS over specials, including Blaze.
5/12/06: Here's some pictures of Risa at the 2006 National Specialty, where she was handled with great skill by Janet Olson (this was right after Kai broke Sandee's shoulder).

6/12/06: Risa scores another 2 points in Puyallup after a terrible first time around the ring. She was behaving like a squirrel, bouncing around and in general having a very good time. She settled down in time for Winners. Definitely not under control. Definitely needing more practice.
8/13/06: Risa picks up another 2 points yesterday and 2 points today. That's now 10. She's starting to settle down, but still needs more ring experience. Today she lacked some of her usual enthusiasm; I think she might have just been a little tired. But she moved well.
11/18/06: No shows since August and Risa walks in and picks up BOS for another 3 points and her second major. Blowing coat. A little too skinny. But the judge liked her.
January 2007: Our first show since November. Puyallup had a huge entry, probably the largest I have ever seen on the west coast outside a specialty. No points, but we did make the cut.
03/24/07: Our first show since January, and Risa picks up another 2 points (one dog shy of a major) and finishes her show championship. She moved well, but didn't want to be stacked and was not interested at all in her bait. She didn't show as well as I would have liked; The Judge liked her, though, and gave her BOS.
